Syphilinum (Component: lysate of treponemal serosities from primary chancres – Family: biotherapeutic)

Characterized by chronic insecurity and extreme anxiety, Syphilinum is a deeply anxious person, often without any objective reason, to the point where their life is profoundly disrupted. Meticulous and rigorous, they may nevertheless appear serious and diligent.

Despite this, they live in constant fear: fear of others, of themselves, and sometimes of infecting others, believing they are afflicted with a serious illness. In the acute phase, this anxiety can develop into paranoia, hypochondria, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. To reassure themselves, they then develop repetitive rituals.

This spiraling dynamic, in which he attempts to compensate for a lack of inner structure by controlling his environment, leads to compulsive behaviors: he does not merely clean, but seeks to sanitize his surroundings, intensely fearing any contamination.

His unstable mood can lead him to profound emotional suffering. Fascinated by death, he may exhibit self-destructive tendencies. He sometimes seeks solace in experiencing pain, including in sexuality, as the emotional release and relaxation that follow provide him with temporary relief.

Feeling isolated and trapped by his condition, he suffers from a loneliness made all the more intense by the fact that he is often aware of the irrational nature of his behaviors. This awareness only serves to heighten his helplessness and distress.

Finally, he often exhibits a tendency to hoard.
